In this short letter (having previously nailed your conduct towards me as cowardly, immoral, illegal, stupid and more, then having pinged your leadership of Samoa for what it really is, lacking vision and integrity, then having explained how you “just don’t get it” when it comes to matters of real faith) now moves into advice. I do so knowing that there is a very strong chance that you are too “up-yourself” to do anything about it but that others will recognise the truth and perhaps one or more of them might have the guts to do something about it to “save Samoa” or something!
First, don’t fall over when I say this but it’s true. Samoa has it right when it comes to fixing problems. The Samoan way is totally biblical when it comes to dealing with trouble. First you call on your family and friends to get a bit of moral support and advice, then you take the matters of your concern to the other party/parties and sit down and talk – all in the presence of recognised and respected social leaders. So in theory, Fa’a Samoa is dead right. In practice, maybe not always but the process is right.
The basics of godliness in conflict resolution is simple – Jesus 101. Integrity, truth, love, patience but also firmness, repentance, restitution and so on. Justice will then result.
So for everything that you’ve ripped me off over, in order to do things a godly way you gotta accept, repent of, seek forgiveness, pay restitution, blah blah blah. With Sonja still in your pocket (or vias versa) you can see why I predict that this will never happen eh?
Tui, the way see it, you’re stuffed. I warned you of this two years ago. You took on the wrong guy. You are in the twilight of your political career, and aging. You have a lot to lose. You have played a brutal game and been top dog, I call it King Kong, but the dog has totally lost its bite with me now that you’ve bitten.
You have a lot to learn about me. I am now rebuilding my career here in New Zealand and my words are now out there, and as I have said to you many times over the years, when it’s out there in Google, it’s out there for good. You can never undo it. You should have listened and learned this Tui and not listened to the Samoans who said stupid things to tickle your ears and stroke their egos.
That your career will end with all this shame attached and that a scandal occurs at the tail of your career as you’ve been exposed for who you really are is sad in the sense that it really was only one fateful decision that brought this all about. Getting me booted out like you did was to me a dumb, foolish, stupid act and I say this to the man who has called so many others the exact same thing over the years many times.
I now turn to the faith aspect of setting matters straight. Imagine that there is a God. Imagine that He calls you to account. Imagine that He asks you about your “exporting” of the Palagi, and the consequent devastation and losses to him his family. Imagine that He raises an eyebrow and asks you to speak about it all. What will you say to Him? That you confessed to the Priest so that entitles you to spend eternity in Heaven? I doubt it! And if He treats you with fairness and justice, perhaps He might send you off to have what you wanted, the ‘skirt’? There will be some people cracking up laughing at this thought, believe me!
Samoa Tui, is ruled (politically) by an astute but crooked leader; a man who has achieved political stability through dirty politics, sometimes brutal, sometimes clean, but in the face of a challenge like me, electing evil over integrity. The people know that something is not right. Most of them don’t know the details and are afraid to ask, and certainly speak. I know though and now you know that I know. I’m neither afraid to ask or to speak.
In my next letter, I move beyond you and your life of crime, and talk in a general sense of how Samoa can be built into a godly nation, of course this will be long past your time, and you will probably never see this in your lifetime, but it is a vision that any prophet can bring – we simply read the Bible and apply it – we hear and obey. Simple!
